About the Job
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager with the daily operations of a multifamily apartment community. The Assistant Community Manager will assist with leasing, resident relations, rent collections, financial administration, property inspections, and maintaining accurate resident and property records.

Duties:
  • Conduct apartment and community tours.
  • Assist with leasing inquiries and follow up with prospects.
  • Assist with process rental applications, deposits, lease agreements, and renewals.
  • Maintain accurate availability, pricing, and unit-status information.
  • Assist with move-ins, move-outs, transfers, and lease renewals.
  • Work with the leasing team to achieve occupancy and leasing goals.
  • Follow all Fair Housing laws and company leasing policies.
  • Maintain accurate resident, applicant, unit, and lease information in RealPage/OneSite.
  • Enter and update resident charges, payments, renewals, notices, and other transactions.
  • Review resident ledgers for accuracy.
  • Monitor lease expiration and renewal reports.
  • Process and maintain electronic resident files.
  • Enter and track maintenance/work-order information as required.
  • Assist with month-end reporting and property-management administrative functions.
  • Provide professional and responsive customer service to residents.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of community events. These will be hosted after business hours or on weekends twice per month.

Requirements:
  • Must hold a South Carolina Property Management License in good standing.
  • Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to work in a fast pace environment.
  • Must have previous Assistant Manager Experience, 2+ years.
