Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager with the daily operations of a multifamily apartment community. The Assistant Community Manager will assist with leasing, resident relations, rent collections, financial administration, property inspections, and maintaining accurate resident and property records.

Duties:

Conduct apartment and community tours.
Assist with leasing inquiries and follow up with prospects.
Assist with process rental applications, deposits, lease agreements, and renewals.
Maintain accurate availability, pricing, and unit-status information.
Assist with move-ins, move-outs, transfers, and lease renewals.
Work with the leasing team to achieve occupancy and leasing goals.
Follow all Fair Housing laws and company leasing policies.
Maintain accurate resident, applicant, unit, and lease information in RealPage/OneSite.
Enter and update resident charges, payments, renewals, notices, and other transactions.
Review resident ledgers for accuracy.
Monitor lease expiration and renewal reports.
Process and maintain electronic resident files.
Enter and track maintenance/work-order information as required.
Assist with month-end reporting and property-management administrative functions.
Provide professional and responsive customer service to residents.
Assist with the planning and execution of community events. These will be hosted after business hours or on weekends twice per month.

Requirements:

Must hold a South Carolina Property Management License in good standing.
Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Must be able to work in a fast pace environment.
Must have previous Assistant Manager Experience, 2+ years.
